Morocco is a country located in the north of Africa. With a population of approximately 39 million, it’s one of the smaller nations on the continent, but one that has a significantly higher standard of living than many of its neighbors. The country enjoys great revenue streams as a result of frequent tourism, and is a popular holiday destination, rivaled only by Egypt in the region. However, the country has developed a rich culture that blends elements of Arabic, Berber, African and European influences. Morocco is a multiethnic country with an extremely rich culture and civilization.


The capital city of Morocco is Rabat. It has many historical monuments and some of the most important museums in Morocco, as a result of its significant architectural heritage. The doors of the Kasbah of Oudaia, The Minaret of The Mosque Hassan, which dates to the 12th Century, and the Necropolis of Chellah are the best places to visit in Rabat.


As well as archaeological museums, Rabat also contains many important institutions such as the royal palace and learning former learning institutes. As well as being a hub for tourists, Rabat is a city of commerce and industry and plays an important economic role in Morocco.


Another great place to visit is Casablanca, which has one of the largest artificial ports in the world. It is Morocco's major city, and the economic capital. It offers a lot of resorts for tourists, and its numerous beaches attract surfers.


Marrakech is a key tourist and commercial center. It is a cultural destination, and an important place to visit for many tourists. Places such as the wonderful Koutoubia Gardens are great locations for tourists to visit, and see a huge number of visitors every year. Essaouira has a beautiful beach and is a brilliant place for windsurfing. Its festivals of Andalusian and Gnawa music, its medina, pleasant climate and beaches attract a large number of tourists. In all moroccan cities, tourists will find great markets which sell all manner of goods such as carpets, wooden statues and jewelry. These market stalls are a reflection of the wealth and culture that has been prevalent in Morocco throughout its history, and are charmin places to stop by. Morocco is described by many as the land of art and emotions. As a result, painters and creative people have always been interested in Morocco. Delacroix, Matisse, Torres, Miro, Francis Bacon and Edouard Degas are just some of the names have been fascinated by the charming local scenes that can be found across the country.


Morocco is not nearly as dangerous a country as some people make it out to be. It’s actually a fairly friendly place to tourists. There is nothing to worry about in Morocco.
